Working with local schools

Gillbrook comprehensive school have become involved in the Eston community and in bloom work.

We had meetings at the school with deputy head, Paul Julian who has attended our in bloom meetings, along with the pupils, meeting elderly residents at Barnaby House.

The school pupils have planted a wild flower garden in the school grounds and beds.

We will continue with our work in all ways to promote our town and community.....

Our funding story without LA support!!

We are only a grass roots voluntary organisation who have raised all the funding  ourselves, no support from the LA, with no centre – work from our homes, use our own  equipment, homes for storage, to work from and our general expenses are very minimal.

We have also shared our experiences and encouraged others that they can do  it to for their communities. This is our story told truthfully.....
